Washington Internship
Applications for fall 2010 are now open.
Our Washington, D.C. office also considers applications for unpaid term-time internships. The positions offer fascinating work experience, the chance to attend events of interest in Washington, and hands-on experience working in a consulting firm focused on international political and economic risk.
All work is based in our Washington, DC office located in Georgetown.
Term-Time Internship - Fall applications open
During the term, Oxford Analytica is looking for an intern to provide at least eight hours of work each week.
The term-time intern will assist with administrative duties in our office, including providing support to Dr David Young, Managing Director, and to Ron Marks, Senior Vice-President for Government Relations. The intern will also provide research assistance on Consulting Practice projects as needed. The intern will have opportunities to witness the daily operations of Oxford Analytica.
Summer Internship - Applications Closed
During the summer, Oxford Analytica offers a full-time internship that will provide our intern with interesting work experience, which will include a mix of assisting with research on Consulting Practice projects and providing operational support to the office. The intern will have opportunities to attend think-tank and other events of interest in Washington.
What we would like from an intern
- High level of education (we will consider applicants from BA students through to DPhil students)
- Currently enrolled in a full-time academic programme
- Education and/or work experience relevant to our work (e.g. subjects might include international relations, regional studies, political science, economics, etc.)
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
- Editing experience a plus
- Quantitative skills a plus
- Must be a US citizen or a foreign student currently enrolled full-time in a US university with appropriate visa.
